The Board of Trustees includes three Alachua County representatives, three City of Gainesville representatives and one League of Cities representative. Members are citizen volunteers appointed by the Governing Board who work with the Library District and Governing Board in developing recommendations, advocacy and other supportive duties.
Board Information
The Board of Trustees consists of seven (7) members appointed by the Library Distrist Governing Board, three (3) Alachua County representatives, three (3) City of Gainesville representatives and one (1) League of Cities representative. Members are citizen volunteers appointed by the Governing Board who work with the Library District and Governing Board in developing recommendations, advocacy and other supportive duties.
Meetings are on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 4:00 pm at the Haedquarters Library, Meeting Room A.
