The Downtown Advisory Board (DAB) is hereby created to provide recommendations on the (1) annual GCRA budget and amendments, (2) Downtown Gainesville Strategic Plan, and (3) GCRA program development.
The Downtown Advisory Board (DAB) shall consist of seven (7) members, appointed by the City Commission to serve at the will of the City Commission.
The initial board members shall be appointed to staggered terms: three members for a 3-year term, two members for a 2-year term, and two members for a 1-year term. Thereafter subsequent appointments shall be for a three-year term.
